Project Manager – Construction

Search Talent is currently recruiting an experienced Project Manager to join an established and growing construction business delivering projects across Dublin.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Project Manager who wants genuine responsibility for projects from commencement through to final handover, working closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors and an experienced management team.

You will take ownership of programme, quality, logistics and day-to-day project delivery, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently, on programme and within budget.

The Role

As Project Manager, you will lead the planning and delivery of construction projects from start to finish. You will coordinate site teams and subcontractors, manage project programmes and logistics, and act as a key point of contact between the client, consultants and construction team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take responsibility for projects from commencement through construction, completion and handover.
  • Develop, manage and drive construction programmes to ensure key milestones are achieved.
  • Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, suppliers and specialist contractors.
  • Manage procurement and ensure materials and project components are available in line with programme requirements.
  • Oversee site logistics and sequencing of works.
  • Monitor project progress and identify potential delays or delivery risks at an early stage.
  • Ensure works are delivered to the required quality standards, drawings and specifications.
  • Carry out regular inspections and oversee quality control and snagging.
  • Work closely with commercial teams to monitor project costs and maintain budgetary control.
  • Liaise directly with clients, architects, engineers, consultants and other project stakeholders.
  • Lead project and coordination meetings and ensure actions are followed through.
  • Maintain excellent health & safety and compliance standards throughout delivery.
  • Drive projects through completion, commissioning and successful handover.

What We’re Looking For

  • 4–5+ years’ Project Management experience within construction or a closely related environment.
  • Demonstrable experience managing projects from commencement through to completion.
  • Strong construction programme and project coordination experience.
  • Experience managing subcontractors, suppliers and project logistics.
  • Good understanding of inspections, quality control and project close-out.
  • Strong commercial awareness with an understanding of project budgets and cost control.
  • Excellent organisational, leadership and communication skills.
  • Comfortable dealing directly with clients and professional project teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced site environment.
  • Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or a related discipline is preferred.
