HSEQ Advisor – Clare and Surroundings

Search Talent is partnering with an established and highly regarded civil engineering and infrastructure contractor to recruit an HSEQ Advisor for its Munster operations.

You’ll join an experienced HSEQ team and work across a variety of active projects throughout the Munster region. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who already has a grounding in construction safety but wants greater project exposure, strong mentorship and a clear opportunity to progress.

The Role

Working alongside experienced HSEQ professionals, you’ll be involved in:

  • Site safety audits and inspections
  • Supporting HSEQ management across multiple Munster projects
  • Developing and reviewing RAMS and safe systems of work
  • Identifying hazards and implementing practical safety controls
  • Incident investigation and follow-up actions
  • Monitoring and reporting on safety performance
  • Coordinating training requirements
  • Liaising with site teams, clients and subcontractors
  • Supporting environmental, quality and sustainability initiatives
  • Helping drive a positive safety culture across projects

What We’re Looking For

Ideally, you’ll have:

  • A degree/qualification in Health & Safety, Environmental Management or a related discipline
  • Previous H&S/HSEQ experience within construction, civil engineering, utilities or a similar environment
  • Good knowledge of Irish Health & Safety legislation
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Confidence dealing with site teams and contractors
  • A practical, solutions-focused approach to Health & Safety
  • Full driving licence
